Happy Birthday, Carey Price.

The Canadiens goaltender excels at stopping pucks, but he also shines when it comes to giving back to the community.

Each year, several lucky children from his native British Columbia make the trip to Montreal to meet him as part of the Shooting for the Stars initiative, attend a game at the Bell Centre and meet some Canadiens teammates after the game.

The trip is made possible by the Air Canada Foundation and the Breakfast Club of Canada, for which Price is an ambassador.

The Air Canada Foundation has been involved with the Shooting for the Stars initiative for four years and last winter brought a group of children from Williams Lake, Anahim Lake and Quesnel, B.C., to Montreal for 4 days.
